Tables and Subtables

Databases use Forms and Subforms to show a relationship. Tables use Subdatasheets to meet the same goal: create a relationship.

The Form and Subform are linked by a common Field. When you add a Subdatasheet you will be prompted to select a Field that both Tables share.

The following pages will add a Subdatasheet, tblRentalPrices to the tblMovies. Both Tables have the same Field: RentalPriceID.

1. Try This: Add a Subdatasheet

tblMovies is still open in Datasheet View.

Go to Home ->Records->More->Subdatasheet.

Select: Subdatasheet.

Keep going.
