Query: Criteria

Criteria can be used to Filter the Records. Criteria can be words, phrases or numbers. Say you wanted to find only the movies that were released in 2012?

 

6. Try it: Edit the Criteria

Select a Field: Year

Enter a Criteria: 2012

Go to Query Tools ->Design-> Results.

Click on Run.

 

What Do You See? Your Query should find four movies that have the year 2012.

 

Go to Home->Views->View->Design View

Enter a different Criteria: 2005.

Click on Run.

 

What Do You See, Now? Your Query should find 25 movies that have the year 2005.

 

Try This, Too: Delete the Criteria

Go to the Design View.

Select a Field: Year
Delete the Criteria. Keep going...

Query Tools ->Design->Results->Run
