Find the Navigation Options

As you work with your database, you may accumulate many copies of the Tables. Which one is the current data and not the backup? It can become very confusing.

 

Save As What? When you create a copy or Save As, you will be prompted to enter a name for the backup. If you include the date as part of the name, it makes it easy to identify when the backup was created.

For example: tblCustomers 052012.

 

Use the Navigation Pane By default, the Navigation Pane displays All Access Objects. The Objects are Grouped and Sorted. You can change the Navigation Pane if you wish. What are the options?

Go to All Access Objects.

Click on the Option arrow.

 

What Do You See? The Access Objects are grouped by Type (Table, Chairs).
