Home-> Styles-> Conditional Formatting -> Top/Bottom Rules

More Than One Rule

You can have more than one Conditional Rule formatting your data. In this illustration, there is one color for sales that are Above Average, and another for the sales that are Below Average.

4. Try It: Add Another Rule

Select Column H.

Go to Home -> Styles.

Go to Conditional Formatting.

Go to Top/Bottom Rules.

Select: Below Average.

Format Cells: You will be prompted to select a formatting option. Select Red Fill with Dark Red Text, please.

What Do You See? Any amount less than the Average is highlighted red with red text. Any amount greater than the Average is formatted green/green.

Keep going...(this is actually fun, isn't it?)
