8.1. Filter data: Apply Filter

Data -> Sort & Filter-> Filter

Date: Apply the Filter

4. What Do You See?  Each column that has a Filter has a small icon.  When you run your mouse over the Filter, you should see what the Filter equals.

 

A Filter is a query, or question, regarding your data. You can create Custom Filters by combining several filters on the same data.

 

What Else Do You See? Look at the bottom of the spreadsheet. The Status Bar in this example indicates that there are 450 customers in MyTown, out of 770 records. The Rows are blue to show that there are hidden rows.
