Security Warnings

Macros are a security risk. Microsoft Excel also displays the security warning in the Backstage View of the workbook.

 

1. Try it: View the Security Information

Open our macro-enabled workbook.

Go to File->Info.

Click on Enable Content.

 

What Do You See? By default, Active Content, including Macros, are disabled because of the potential hazards.

 

You can Enable All Content and make this workbook a Trusted Document.

 

The Advanced Options allows you to enable the macro for this session, only.
