Create a New Rule

Rules can identify messages by several criteria including: Sender, Recipient, Subject, and key words in the message. This example moves a message based on the Subject and places it into a new folder.


Before You Begin: Create Another Folder

Go to the Inbox.
Go to Folder ->New->New Folder.


You will be prompted to enter the following:

Name: Training

Select where to place the folder: Home


6. Try it: Create a New Rule

The Inbox is still selected.

Go to Home ->Move->Rules->Create Rule...
