Change the Character Spacing

Character Spacing is the amount of white space between the letters. In typography, this is called kerning. (The Computer Mama sez: I always pictured kernels of corn on the cob.)

5. Try it: Format the Character Spacing

Select: Flowers.

Go to Home ->Font->Character Spacing.

Select: Very Tight.

What Do You See? The options include:

Very Tight

Tight

Normal

Loose

Very Loose

More Spacing

Keep going...

Memo to Self: Advertising seems to cycle through Tight (less white space between the characters) and Loose (more white space). If you choose Very Tight, look at your text and make sure it is "TNT: Tight, Not Touching."
