Page Layout -> Page Setup -> Hyphenation

Control Hyphenation

Hyphenation controls how Microsoft Word breaks up (hyphenates) words as it layouts the text. By default, the hyphenation is turned off.

1. Try This: Use Hyphenation

Go to Page Layout->Page Setup.
Go to Hyphenation.
Click on Automatic.

What Do You See? When you choose Automatic, Word will try to make the best fit.

Try This, Too: Review the Options

Go to Hyphenation Options.

You can limit the number of words that are hyphenated consecutively-one right after another.
