Insert Equations

In addition to the math symbols that substitute as you type, Microsoft Word 2010 offers equations that you can edit.

 

1. Try This: Insert An Equation

Go to Insert-> Symbols->Equation.

 

2. What Do You See? There should be a list of equations including the Area of a Circle, Binomial Theorem and, yes indeed, it is the Pythagorean Theorem for triangles.

 

3. Try This, Too: Insert An New Equation

Go to Insert-> Symbols->Equation.

Click on Insert New Equation.

 

What Do You See? There should be a new Equation Block that you can edit.
