Format the SmartArt

SmartArt has Shapes. You can use the Format tools to focus on one particular Shape. The Format ribbon offers many of the same options as the Drawing or Shape ribbon.

1. Try It: Change the Shape

Select one shape in the SmartArt.

Go to SmartArt Tools ->Format.
Go to Shape ->
Change Shape.

2. What Do You See? You can choose a different shape from the list.

In this example, the Shape has two part: a glassy shape on top of a colored one. You need to select and format each part separately.

Very good. You can close this document without saving it.
