Adjust the Color

Brightness changes how much light is shining on the picture. Contrast is the difference between absolute black and absolute white.

 

You can make a Washout by adjusting the Brightness and Contrast. There are several interesting options in the Color menu.  

 

Before You Begin: Insert a new picture from File. You can choose a sample picture or one of your own if you wish.

 

7: Try it: Create a Washout

Select the new picture.

Go to Picture Tools->Format->Adjust.

Click on Color. Choose WASHOUT..

 

What Do You see? There are three types of Color options:

Saturation: how much color

Tone: Warm (more red) or Cold (more blue color)

Recolor: This option applies a color filter to your image.
