Extra for Experts: Formulas

The Intermediate Guide to Microsoft Excel 2010 demonstrated a dozen or so essential formulas.

 

Many spreadsheets use recursive or very complicated math functions, such as computing energy or figuring out the cost per unit of an area or volume. You may have wondered what can you do to make sure the math is right.

 

PEMDAS is an acronym that was invented to help folks remember the Oder of Operations. All equations follow PEMDAS, no matter how complex or simple the formula may be.
