If you look at the Mail Merge labels, you will see a bit
of code that says <<Next Record>>. This Mail Merge field reads
your recipient lists and finds the next name on the list. This field was
added automatically as part of the Label template.
Microsoft Word 2010 has simplified the Mail Merge
programming with new Rules. These options were available in
previous versions of Microsoft Office but you had to look for them
buried deep in the advanced

Write and Insert Fields.
Go to Rules.
Click on Next Record.
The Next Record field will be added to your Mail Merge document.
