Define a Range

The Name Box is a special tool in the top left corner by the Formula bar. You can use the Name Box to Define a Range, instead of selecting the cells with your mouse.

 

2. Try This, Too: Define a Range

Place your cursor in the Name Box.

Type: E1:E58

Hit the ENTER key on your keyboard.

 

What Do You See? The RANGE of cells from Cell E1 through Cell E58 are selected and highlighted blue.
